The train is passing over the Passaic River, approaching Paterson, New Jersey from Hawthorne, New Jersey. The fourth recently repainted unit by NYS&W, this locomotive features the railroad's "silver and maroon" paint, one of the schemes that preceded the now signature "yellow and black"
