| A picture for the history books. One of the very last runs of the erstwhile M-DASH (Manifest - Dallas to Shreveport) operated by the now fallen flag - Kansas City Southern (KCS). KCS merged with Canadian Pacific to form a new railroad CPKC. The second out locomotive in the picture is the heritage unit honoring another fallen flag "Nickel Plate Railroad" a predecessor of the now "Norfolk Southern" and M-DASH is now 166, a night time departure from Wylie, Tx instead of the evening run. |
