Remarks & Notes |
Copper Basin Railway’s OT-1 ore shuttle train is loading ore at Asarco’s massive Ray copper mine in a view from the cab of CBRY EMD GP39 No. 505 on April 20, 2017. On the left are unique hopper cars that are loaded with copper concentrate. What look like traffic signals displaying yellow are to let the CBRY crew know they are to go at loading speed and the ore loading chute is functioning as intended. The signals will show green as the train approaches to let the CBRY crew know that the loader is ready load, and displays red when the loading operator needs the train to stop for any reason during the loading process. |
