Changing Times for Connecticut Transit.
Connecticut Co. trolley 1326 (Osgood Bradley, 1910) and Connecticut Railway & Lighting Co. bus no. 504 (GMC, 1965) are seen staged for photos at the Connecticut Trolley Museum in East Windsor, CT. The CR&L was formed in 1901 to manage the streetcar lines of the Connecticut Light and Power Co., and the CR&L lines were leased to the ConnCo from 1906-1936. Upon resuming control of the lines - after cancelling the leases for lack of payment - CR&L quickly worked to convert to bus operation.
