| The last of four trains we shot this morning was GSPXTC-04, a Pixley California to Tuscola, Illinois empty grain train. The train is snaking through Echo Canyon and passing Hanging Rock. This large boulder slid down the hill in 1948 and stopped just short of the right of way. Since it was not impeding the line, Union Pacific chose to leave it and it has remained in place ever since. |
