| As Frederickson, Washington is growing, Tacoma Rail is in tactical retrograde from the area and the business will now be handled by Rainier Rail from the much flatter southerly approach from McKenna and Chehalis. Even these SD70ACEs heading back down to Tacoma can only pull so much up the 3.6% grade built a century ago by the Milwaukee Road to reach Portland. |
