My great, great uncle Robert F. McKee, Sr., was a design engineer at Baldwin and he would give my father different Baldwin Locomotive Works builder's cards when my father would visit him in Collingswood, New Jersey. Here is the 4-6-6-4 built for the Denver and Rio Grande Western, number 3712. According to the specifications listed on the back of the builder's card, in working order the total engine and tender weight was 961,700 lbs., and it had a tractive force of 105,000 lbs. This Baldwin Locomotive Works builders photo card is from the John R. Doughty collection.
