Summerhill, along NS's Pittsburgh Line, was known for having a unique signal configuration. Due to a sightline issue, eastbound signals on the 263 bridge were raised above the gantry to avoid being blocked by the Main Street bridge, which passes over the three track mainline. Eastbound trash empties head into the morning sunlight with a pair of AC-traction units leading. These signals were removed from service almost exactly three years after this photo was taken.
