Conrail TV-556 gets underway after a crew change at Selkirk Yard. Southern Pacific power was common on this once-per-week double stack train, but the trailing Santa Fe B36-7 was a nice bonus on a frigid December morning. It's Friday, so the train is running a day late. This power would return north/west the next morning, New Years Eve, on TVLA. The entire length of TV-556 is visible from the vantage point on Ben's Bridge, and from the sea of orange containers it's obvious that this train handled primarily NYK traffic.
