Aberdeen Carolina and Western's freshly painted E9A unit #301 makes it's first debut, seen here bringing up the rear of their excursion train. 301 has a long history, being originally built for Union Pacific, then being sold to Amtrak for a bit, only to be sold BACK to Union Pacific, and then to Wisconsin and Southern. It held it's Wisconsin and Southern paint scheme since 2008. Even though it was sold to the Alaskan Railroad, and Saint Louis & Rio Grande, it still held its paint scheme until it was finally sold to Aberdeen Carolina and Western, where it now proudly sports the ACWR excursion train scheme.
