Remarks & Notes |
After a repair of an axle bearing in the main workshop of the RhB in Landquart, the historic locomotive Ge 4/6 # 353 built in 1914 had to be transferred back to its home depot Samedan. Train 9025 ran from Landquart via Küblis-Klosters-Davos-Filisur-Bergün to Samedan. As a load and for sufficient braking power on the Davos-Filisur section falling at up to 35 o/oo, 5 empty Za tank cars were carried. The locomotive was built in 1914 by SLM Winterthur and MFO in Oerlikon for the new Engadin line Bever-Scuol-Tarasp. It has 559 kW and a maximum speed of 55 km/h. Since 1984 it has been preserved as an operational historic traction unit at the Samedan site. The train is between Serneus and Klosters Dorf in the Prättigau. |
