Both vehicles shown here are called "tractor" in Switzerland. On the left the small diesel shunting locomotive Tm 2/2 # 62 of the Rhaetian Railway with year of construction 1962, freshly refurbished by members of the association "Club 1889" in Samedan. The vehicle was built as Xm 2/2 # 9912 II by Robert Aebi, SLM and the RhB with 60 HP (today with Cummins motor 84 HP) and was used by the catenary service with appropriate superstructures and was last painted yellow. Now rebuilt into a typical tractor in oxide red, as it was used on small and medium stations. The green "Bührer" tractor on the right in private ownership, an agricultural vehicle, was built in 1961, so dates from the same time.
