UP's Peoria Local (L-PD01) pulls onto the TZPR main and then will shove it's train the 3/4 of a mile down to Collier Yard. There are plenty of boxcars up from bound for KJRY interchange. Of historical interest are the now defunct CB&Q main line in Peoria (to the right in the photo) and remnants of the telegraph pole line which ran alongside the tracks.
Photos showing the railroad pole lines. The pole line used four basic electrical circuits - telegraph, telephone, signaling, and power. Modern technologies of fiber optics, microwave, radio, satellite, and computers have been replacing the pole lines.
