Scarborough in Hudson.
Metro-North Railroad M3A no. 8070 (Budd, 1983-1985) is the lead unit on Hudson Line train 755 to Croton-Harmon, seen stopped at Scarborough Station. While other stations on the line are directly adjacent to the river, Scarborough is the only one to have water on both sides! The railroad took an offshore route here, cutting off Kemey's Cove rather than proceeding inland.
With three lines radiating north out of Grand Central Terminal plus service to Port Jervis on the former Erie, Metro North covers a wide swatch of New York's northern suburbs with varying terrains.
