| SNCF labels this quiet branch between Marseille and Grenoble as '905' on its system map. The air above it in the paragliding world is anything but quiet and has produced many world distance records. Through paragliding I have had the good fortune to visit this corner of France again. The steam train sign unfortunately only means it is an unprotected crossing and not what one could expect to come by. This is a series b81500 4 car set with diesel power on each end. |
