After Sunset at Sunset Seat. The cliffs of Del Mar, California are a small geographic distance from San Diego, but a large change from the water level view. Webb Rail's former New York Central Railroad Budd built Pullman obs/diner/slpr "Babbling Brook" (WEBX 800007) and former Northern Pacific Railway Budd built Pullman dome/slpr 313 (WEBX 801044) were placed behind Amtrak California CDTX 2120 (SC44, Siemens) on Amtrak Train 593 on Friday, July 24, 2020 for the trip to Los Angeles. This area of Torrey Pines State Park is called "Sunset Seat" after a physical bench that is not far from where this photo was taken, but perhaps a seat in the dome was the best view of all.
