Rolling past the old Santa Fe passenger station in Barstow in a westbound Union Pacific freight, led by DDA40X 6912, SD40-2 8038 and DDA40X 6931. This train hopped on to the Santa Fe's Los Angeles Division nine miles earlier, and will stay on the ATSF for another 96 miles, diverging back to UP rails in Riverside in order to get to UP's East Yard, near downtown Los Angeles.
