NP In ND. Built in 1898, teh Northern Pacific Railway Depot designed by famed architect Cass Gilbert. Passenger train ceased to used this facility in 1970, but it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1975 and today serves as home to the Fargo Park District staff. There is an also a display track of vintage railroad cars. Amtrak presently stops about a half-mile to the north on a different route. |
