| "Allegra" ABe 8/12 # 3509 of the Rhaetian Railway is pulling the PE (Panorama Express) 951 BERNINA EXPRESS with 7 panorama cars from Chur througout to Tirano, changing in Pontresina from 11000 V 16,7 Hz AC of the main network to 1000 V DC of the Bernina line. Along the Lago Bianco (White Lake) goes the journey near the Ospizio Bernina, highest station of the RhB network on 2253 meter a.s.l. The cars have added inscriptions "50 Jahre/50 years/50 anni" to celebrate 50 years of operation of the BERNINA EXPRESS from Chur to Tirano from 1973 to 2023. |
