| Ge 4/4 II # 615 "Klosters" of the Rhaetian Railway in the "fairtiq" publicity paint scheme is leaving the 27 meter long Zalaint tunnel between Filisur and Alvaneu with the PE 903 GLACIER EXPRESS from St.Moritz to Zermatt. The first car of the train is the Aps # 4026 of the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn of the "Excellence class". One car of this class only travels in one of the GLACIER EXPRESS trains in each direction. It is advertised as follows: the most sought-after seats in Switzerland. Window seat guaranteed. A five-course menu and the Glacier Bar for an aperitif. Along the way you will be served a refined regional 5-course menu with a accompanying glas of wine for each course. For an aperitif, some delicious cocktail or to exchange with fellow travelers the Glacier Bar is the perfect place to visit. Thanks to the compass on the ceiling none of the many turns will be missed. Concierge and Infotainment aboard. During the entire journey, you will be taken care of by a concierge. Be it with culinary delights, answers to personal concerns or exciting anecdotes and information about nature, culture and people along the journey. The price: a first class ticket and a supplement of 470 swiss francs. But this seats are the best booked of the GLACIER EXPRESS. |
