For a few months, the Bone Valley was once again host to unique EMD-type power and the 8900 series once again lived on CSXT, flares and all. In mid-2019, these units were assigned to the various BV trains and you could usually catch them all in one or two days. By February 2020, they were being sent elsewhere on the system for other assignments and for a while, they seemed safe. By mid-2023, they were all stricken from the roster. Not sure I've seen a new class come and go so quickly.
