| E-15's 158 and 165 bracket the charred and broiled 406 on the slow crawl west through Eastport. This is far from their final destination of the receiving yard at Morris Park. On Sunday, LI 406 suffered a fire that started under the engine body and quickly spread inside. This could be the last time this one is ever seen on main rail, except as a rusting skeleton on the deadline of Morris Park, but time will tell. |
