On the occasion of the event for the patrons of the Furka Mountain Line Foundation (Stiftung Furka Bergstrecke), this beautiful little freight train was presented in front of the car storage hall in Realp. The 1902 built cogwheel locomotive HG 2/3 # 6 "WEISSHORN" of the former Visp-Zermatt-Bahn (VZ) pulls the open freight car L # 556 (Ek # 2719) of the Furka-Oberalp Bahn (FO), which was built in 1889 by the belgian company S. A. Nicaise & Delcuve in La Louvières as # 106 for the Landquart-Davos-Bahn (LD) and via RhB, BFD, FO finally came to DFB in 1998 as Ek # 2719 from the Brig-Visp-Zermatt Bahn (BVZ). On the right, the boxcar K # 52 of the former Schöllenenbahn (SchB), which was delivered by SWS in Schlieren in 1916 and came to DFB from FO in 2004. Largely renovated to its original condition in Realp.
