August 31, 2023 marked the final day of operations over the Danvers and South Reading Industrial Tracks between Salem and Peabody, MA. The branches served Rousellot, the line's only customer, that is closing up shop for good. MEC 516 crosses through Peabody Square to retrieve the final empty tank car before returning to Somerville one last time.
