Remarks & Notes |
A pair of Metro-North RDCs idle at Suffern station between runs. It seems the second unit needed some attention as a mechanic can be seen crouching near one of the trucks. At the time RDCs were used on midday shuttles between Suffern and Port Jervis, NY. While it appears there are still four tracks here (dating back to the Erie/EL era), the two outer tracks are severed past the station platform. 19 is an RDC1 that was built as New Haven 32. It worked for Amtrak before being purchased by Metro-North in the late 1970s. |
