An abnormal sight of an ALP46 at Hoboken Terminal is the result of a very abnormal day. A train derailed on approach to Penn Station at the end of the morning rush hour, fouling up the entire system for hours. As a result, Midtown Direct trains on the Morris & Essex, Gladstone, and Montclair-Boonton Lines all operated in and out of Hoboken, with PATH cross honoring fares under the Hudson. Here, Train 6655, typically a train out of Penn Station to Dover, awaits departure from Hoboken during the evening rush.
