Virginian Is For Train Lovers. On Wednesday, September 13, 2023, an unexpected series of events led to recently repainted Norfolk Southern Heritage Unit SD70ACe 1069 (Virginian) leading Train H81 (which had recrewed the previous night's H70) from Harriman, New York to Croxton Yard in Jersey City, New Jersey. This train appearing in daylight is extremely unusual, much less with an NS heritage unit. Norfolk Southern recently announced that the company is going to repaint all 20 of the heritage units that it created in 2012 for the railroad's 30th Anniversary. The train is seen crossing HX Draw over the Hackensack River to Secaucus, New Jersey with the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey in the background.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
