"Midnight Blue by the Auto 1421"

On a September 12th, 2023, Amtrak P42DC #100, painted in "Midnight Blue", leads Vermonter train 55 past the original Boston & Maine 1421 automatic signal at Westminster, Vermont on the NECR Palmer Subdivision. These signals are operating on borrowed time as Genesee & Wyoming continues to make upgrades along the line.
