Fluting. A comparison of the all fluted Budd built sides of R-32 3361 and half fluted sides of St. Louis Car Company built R-38 4028 on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority - MTA/New York Transit Museum Parade of Trains. The "blue door" R-32s made a rare appearance at the event, but only in a support capacity.
