Not where you may think this is. Nebraska? The Dakotas? How about the north side of Detroit, near Hamtramck! Yes, this is a view of the DeCon, AKA, the Detroit Connecting Railway, a sub of the Adrian and Blissfield. This crew works as needed to switch a couple of small industries, then runs up through the well known Milwaukee Junction to interchange with the NS shared assets. The entire roster is pictured with the ex-Checker Cab Motor Co. SW900 and their 44 tonner which is currently out of service. This view looks north towards Farnsworth street. Another hard part to digest is that this line used to be a 4 track speedway hosting multiple passenger trains per day.
