| Elmwood 40th. For a Friends Of Philadelphia Trolleys sponsored trip on Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) 2 years ago today, Kawasaki built SPAX 9093 "K-Car" was selected for the assignment. To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the "Elmwood District", the car had a special wrap designed for it with pictures of the Elmwood throughout the years. The car is seen crossing Market Street on 40th Street on the diversion trackage that is normally only used for revenue service when SEPTA performs its annual Trolley Tunnel Maintenance Blitz, but provides the full view of the side of the car. |
