Alp Grüm station on 2091 meter a.s.l. with the impressive stone building from 1926, seen from a distance of about one kilometer from the other side of the valley. Train R 1633 from St.Moritz to Tirano is leaving the station, rounding the 180 degrees panorama curve with a radius of 45 meter only, pulled by railcars ABe 4/4 # 51 and 52. The restaurant terrace is filled with guests on this beautiful and mild autumn day. The train is about 30 minutes late and crossed in Alp Grüm with train 1652 from Tirano to St.Moritz, which is standing in the station.
