Three of four passenger trains running for the fall foliage season are seen here, with the JTOS backing into the station aster the LGSR departs with the JTPI waiting its turn. JTOS will actually board staff then continue to back up out of the way of JTPI. Parking in and around Jim Thorpe is quite tricky this time of year, taking the train is a reasonable alternative. Just a few years ago, this alternative was in serious jeopardy, but managed to rebound with considerable support.
