Eastbound Norfolk Southern #256 Roadrailer climbs out of the Rock Creek sag just east of Rockfield, IN shortly prior to sunset, 10/24/23. The good Lord blessed me with parting clouds, a setting sun, and a Roadrailer all perfectly timed in unison. All I had to do was be there to soak it in.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
