Glover Machine Works 0-6-0T #6 chugs along during the annual Harvest Days festival at the Patsiliga Museum in Junction City, Georgia. No. 6 was built in 1916 for Cherokee Brick and Tile in Macon, Georgia, by the Glover Machine Works in Marietta, GA. After its retirement in the late 50's, it was donated to the Georgia Agrirama in Tifton, GA, and later donated to the Patsiliga Museum, where it was returned to operating condition in late 2022 by Mike Buckner and friends. Glover built around 200 steam locomotives for the logging and agriculture industries in the early 1900's, and only a few examples remain today. No 6 is the only Glover steam locomotive that is operational, and during the course of its 107-year lifespan, it has remained within the state of Georgia.
