An eastbound Burlington Northern Santa Fe freight exits Tunnel 1 and fills the horseshoe curve at the mouth of Coal Creek Canyon as it drops downgrade between Plain and Clay, Colorado, on a dry January 19, 2002. Trailing lead BNSF GE C44-9W No. 5312 are a pair of Santa Fe Warbonnet C40-8Ws. |
