| Light trailer Ln55 # 104 of the Ferrovie dello Stato (FS) exhibted in the Museo Nazionale Ferroviario di Pietrarsa. The adoption of "Littorina" diesel railcars for short and medium-range sevices, exposed the limited passenger capacity of this vehicles, which only had 56 passengers seats per car. This prompted FS to come up with the idea to create light passenger trailers, which could be towed by ALn railcars. On the left are FIAT built ALn 556 # 1202 and Breda built Aln 556 # 2312 diesel railcars. |
