The Pace, The Chase, and The Race: As the light fades in the New River Valley, our 82 mile, 7-Location chase of the NS 203 ends in Christiansburg, VA. This surprise baretable move passed Landgraff as we were relaxing in Bluefield for the day and thus became our sole priority. A day consisting of a photo shoot with the engineer, witnessing the train perfectly race another, pacing right alongside the train for 2 miles, and other unique occurrences finally found a finish line in the Southern Virginia town.
