People Will Never Learn. Although the train was quite visible for anyone paying attention, this Volvo SUV pulled forward onto the crossing in close proximity to the train. A moment later, the Volvo tried to pull forward but just a tad too late and was grazed by the cow catcher (I heard on the radio that there was some white paint and a tail light fragment on the catcher). The Volvo driver was shaken up but otherwise unharmed. After a delay for EMS and the police, the train was released to proceed to its destination, ironically about a mile away.
