Bill: The now-abolished Dover, NJ based NS H02 waits at "Bill" at Milepost 58. "Bill" is the location where railroad control shifts from NJ Transit (to the east) to Norfolk Southern (to the west). At the time, the Norfolk Southern portion was controlled by the NS Lehigh Line Dispatcher. With a TA1.1 (Track Authority), NS H02 would proceed west onto the Norfolk Southern portion, called then the Washington Secondary, to interchange cars at Washington Yard. In March of 2019, Norfolk Southern abolished this local train and passed on its freight operations to the Chesapeake & Delaware. In June of 2020, NS 3010 (former CR 3289) was sold to the Lake State Railway Company. In January of 2021, Norfolk Southern abolished the Lehigh Line Dispatcher Desk and passed on its dispatching duties to the Harrisburg East Dispatcher.
