On Saturday, December 2, operations on the entire RhB network were severely affected by the heavy snowfall. Several lines such as Tiefencastel-Bergün, Chur-Arosa, Davos-Filisur and between Zernez and S-chanf were closed for many hours or even the whole day, mainly due to fallen trees. There were many long delays and train cancellations, and some rail replacement services could not be set up due to closed roads. In Thusis we can see the diesel shunter Tm 2/2 # 119 with the diesel snow blower Xrot mt # 95402. This snow blower is similar to those of the Bernina line (# 95403 and 95404), but less powerful.
