Metrolink San Bernardino Line train 353 hustles past the BNSF power stationed at Kaiser. Train 353 is heading from San Bernardino to Los Angeles, with F59PH 882 up front, and MP36PH-3C 900 on the rear, with four cars. On an adjacent track, are eleven BNSF GP60Ms, all former Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe Railway locomotives, awaiting their next assignments. This is Metrolink’s San Gabriel Sub, named for the San Gabriel Mountains in the distance. But it could also be named for the San Gabriel Valley, which it traverses.
