My great, great uncle Robert F. McKee, Sr., was a design engineer at Baldwin and he would give my father different Baldwin Locomotive Works builder's cards when my father would visit him in Collingswood, New Jersey. This beautiful 2-10-4, number 5004, was built for the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway. According to the specifications listed on the back of the builder's card, this engine and tender had a total weight of 905,160 lbs., and it had a tractive force of 93,000 lbs. This Baldwin Locomotive Works builders photo card is from the John R. Doughty collection.
