Remarks & Notes
The legendary SBB "Churchill Arrow" RAe 4/8 # 1021, built in 1939, is on its traditional New Year's Eve trip in Wettingen. The journey began in Zurich main station and ran via Zurich Oerlikon-Regensdorf to Wettingen, then through the Limmat Valley and Zurich main station S-Bahn tracks-Zurich Stadelhofen to Uetikon, on to Rapperswil, over the Seedamm to Pfäffikon SZ and Wädenswil. Stop there on the shores of Lake Zurich to enjoy the various fireworks displays at midnight, and return to Zurich at around 1 h, with connections to the night S-Bahn services in all directions.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
