Snow Cometh To Those Who Wait For The Erie. After more than 700 days without measurable snow, on the night of Saturday, January 6, 2024, NJ Transit Train 2122 was passing through the distinctive Oradell, New Jersey Station with home rails heritage unit NJTR 4210 (GP40PH-2B, Erie Railroad Heritage) during a winter season storm. There was visible accumulation in between trips for the veteran geep, making this the first time it was exposed to snow since its repainting. With overnight temperatures headed back above the freezing mark, it was worth staying for this shot on the former Erie Pascack Valley Line.
