The crew of the Brook Park Turn has dropped off BN 6118 for a short visit into the depot. They had arrived light engine from Brook Park, and no doubt stopped several blocks east of here for lunch at the Sportsman's Cafe, a tradition for crews on this run for over a decade. It was just coincidence that I was able to be in Mora at the same time this "train" was. It would be my last photo of a train in Mora, the location of my first railroad photo taken here at age 10 in summer 1961. The other coincidence is the first photo was taken of GN 591, which became BN 6118. No wonder SD9s are my favorite locomotives. The Turn originated in St. Cloud, connecting at Brook Park with trains to/from Superior, WI.
