Last Train To Frederick. MARC 71 (GP39H-2, M-K, ex-CR 3066, exx-PC 3066, née NYC GP40 3066, EMD, 8/1967) sits on the platform at Frederick, Maryland as train P895 on the evening of January 14, 2011. This is the third of three MARC Brunswick line trains that make the shorter run to Frederick and head to the nearby yard for overnight storage. The daily schedule is roughy the same now, with 3 trains each between Washington DC and Frederick, MD, Brunswick, MD, and Martinsburg, WV in the evening. MARC 71 is one of six GP39H-2 models that have since been rebuilt as a GP39PH-3C, giving the veteran standard cab a third life.
