| "Allegra" ABe 8/12 # 3514 of the Rhaetian Railway got an ancestor (Ahnenzug) heritage livery, to commemorate the unification of the Bernina Railway and the Chur-Arosa Railway with the Rhaetian Railway during the Second World War. Pulling the train 1625 of the line RE9 from St.Moritz to Tirano, the # 3514 reaches the shore of the frozen and snow covered Lago Bianco (White Lake) on about 2250 meter a.s.l. between Bernina Lagalb and Ospizio Bernina. In the background Piz Saluver and Piz Ot north of the Engadine. |
