Remarks & Notes
Northern Central Railway’s No. 17 York pauses at the New Freedom station to detrain passengers of a Glen Rock Express excursion.

The York is a replica Civil War-era 4-4-0 “American”, built by Kloke Locomotive Works in 2013.

Rebranded from “Steam into History” in 2019, the Northern Central Railway of York is a heritage railroad that operates excursion trains on a 15-mile segment of the former PRR-controlled Northern Central Railway between New Freedom and Brillhart Station, using this replica 19th century equipment, as well as two first generation EMD diesels.
