| An eastbound Z train hustles along the north bank of the Columbia River headed for Pasco and points east. Between here and Pasco a wildfire broke out this morning just uphill from the mainline possibly delaying the hot FedEx traffic. The view across the river from Oregon is a great place to take in the expansive basalt cliffs and the trains at the foot of them on the former Spokane Portland and Seattle. |
